The project concerned the development and sale of 38 apartments in the popular district Örgryte in the city of Gothenburg. During the summer of 2009 all apartments were sold in a few weeks from paper. The owners could move into their homes early 2011. The building now is a characteristic landmark in the neighbourhood.
At the time the decision to develop in the Gothenburg region was based on the strong local economy and its solid real estate market. Like Stockholm, Sweden’s largest harbour city Gothenborg (with a population of over one million inhabitants) enjoys a more robust economy than any other region in Sweden.
As a result of the good financing possibilities for the individual property buyers, the demand for housing is increasing and the housing prices
remain stable and increase modestly.
