Paul Dekker is a University of Amsterdam economist and took the International Executive Program at INSEAD, Fontainebleau. He started his career with the AMRO Bank and worked for Data Publishing International, provider of business information (VNU).
Thereafter Paul Dekker held various management positions in international logistics, serving as a director of Van Ommeren - Vopak in Singapore, Germany and the Netherlands. In Singapore he built a storage terminal for chemical bulk liquids and in close cooperation with DuPont he developed a new logistic concept for the chemical industry.
Paul Dekker also served as a director of the Dutch National Railways. Currently he is a member of the Dutch Committee of Experts Notary Public.
