Charter Real Estate activities are mainly focussed on the Swedish residential market. Thorough market research confirms the housing market to be interesting and potentially very lucrative for investors, due to the solid Swedish economic outlook and a structural shortage of apartments.

Besides developing projects in a joined effort with a restricted group of investors Charter Real Estate is initiator of the Swedish Residential Development Fund NV. This is a fund with institutional characteristics, which is also open to private investors. A unique tax structure in the Netherlands (Tax Exempt status / Vrijgestelde Beleggingsinstelling, or "VBI") provides the fund exemption from paying corporate and dividend tax.
